Natural Tone Finish
“Heavy
finish dampens tone”—This is a common statement
among guitar builders. Even too much nitro cellulose lacquer
can have this effect on overall tone. Our natural tone finish
includes the finishing practice in quality luthery of using
ground coats. These are actually quick drying coats of a special
violin varnish. Then 10 coats of oil varnish. This produces
a deep oil finish with tonal quality. Easy to touch up! (Clear
wax if needed.)
2.
Direct Coupling of Neck to Bridge
If
you look inside our guitars from the top you’ll notices
bright copper bars through the body. We are actually connecting
the neck to the bridge—even before the drive system
comes on these guitars “ring” with added natural
sustain and harmonics.
3.
Acoustic Chamber
The
Internal Combustion Guitar™ is a true hybrid electric
acoustic guitar. The fine tone woods have room to resonate
inside the chamber area, adding to the complexity of the final
tone. The chamber does not take comfort away from the fit
and feel of the instrument. The body tilts towards the player—you
can even feel the added resonance.
4.
Internal Combustion Guitar™ Driver
This
is the heart of our proprietary engineered system. It includes
a speaker transducer fttted inside the chamber of the ICG.
Special tone ports and filter baffles direct added resonance
to the vibrating strings and guitar top. Found only in the
Internal Combustion Guitar™. It is made to last, but
replaceable if necessary.

Pickups and Drivers
We
are privileged to have partnered with Lace Pickups to power
these guitars. The Alumitone Series coupled with the Varitone
control and push pull volume control offer 20 possible settings.
Used with our driver system or Roland Hex pickup—the
tonal possibilities are absolutely endless.

Our proprietary drive system puts added sustain, tonal variation,
and dynamics at the turn of the throttle knob. Our guitars

With a processor like a VG88 or VG99 turn your guitar sound
to a resonating violin or pipe organ. In time, you’ll
